Stories from the end of the world

Well, there have been changes in my life. I have finished my studies at university, waiting for the results now. In a month time I have managed to move from Oxford to London and back to Oxford again. I have finally found a job in a very good hotel, I'll be earning money at last! I have moved into a new house, and my flatmates are amazing...  Hopefully, I'll be able to spend more time online now as well.  

I have just come back from the bar where we were celebrating the last day of our MSc course. I have submitted my dissertation today, and now I have to wait till December for the results. But man, I feel so empty! Even though I am moving to London with one of my closest friends from the course, the other two are not going to be with me. Other people are leaving as well... And we are all internationals. It feels so weird, studying and writing my work has been all my life for the last year, and these people were the closest ones to me , as we all went through the same things. And I love Oxford. I love my uni. So... What's next?

So... how exactly does one deal with unrequited love?

Just in case wonders... I am still a resident of this planet, though now I am residing somewhere in the UK, I'd say in Oxford. I am studying for my Master Degree, which does not leave much time for anything else. No partying, no chatting online, no White Palace, no reading for pleasure. Library is my home, and 'Tourism Management' journal is my pillow. I might not be very happy at the moment due to personal reasons (men!!), but life is still good :)

I know some of you have heard this already, but... Why can't I pick up the phone when the guy I like is calling me?! I just get too nervous...

Everyone in this country has or knows someone who lives in London: children, friends or friends of friends. No one I know has suffered. I had moment of utter fear. My brother and his girlfriend live right opposite the King's Cross tube station. And he usually takes the tube at this hour going back from work. Today he off today and went to see the new apartment at that time. But he has chosen bus over the tube...

Here it is Laur, created after much thinking and mental suffering (I just could not find 10 men that were sexy enough). The number does not represent the degree of their sexiness for me, though the ones in the beginning I tend to think of more often.

Number 1:

Well, what can I say... I saw Star Wars on Monday, and I loved how Hayden Christensen played Anakin and Darth Vader here. Besides, that guy has very sexy smile and great body. And brains. And he is the same age as I am.

Number two:

This a young Russian actor, Egor Beroyev. I don't have many favourites coming from that side, but this guy is hot. As simple as that. And smart. And happily married... Oh, well...

Number three:

Orlando Bloom. Yeah, I know. It is fashionable to pick on this guy. I cannot help it, I still like him.

And, of course, everyone loves Johny Depp!

Number five:

Another Russian actor, Daniil Strahov. He tends to play bastards that you hate most of the film just to fall in love with them when they show their tender loving hearts by the end of the movie. And he is happily married, of course.
